Hello and welcome to the Polymaster newsletter.

We have recently returned from the Techtextil exhibition in Frankfurt where Polymaster demonstrated its PM-II and PM-IV fully loaded with all the extras that we provide for our machines. Attendance at the exhibition was excellent providing a large amount of enquiries and new potential clients from all over the world...very encouraging in today's economic climate.

Continuing to innovate and add products to the Polymaster portfolio we have recently added a "Hot-Knife" to the range of extras available. This knife uses extreme heat to sear through materials rather than a rotating blade. Ideal for synthetics it seals the edges and provides a fantastic cut, impeccably finished. Used in conjunction with our rotating cutters Polymaster provide a flexible solution to cutting.

Polymaster have also continued to push the designs of the range and in conjunction with Romo Fabrics have produced a clamping method to cut folded fabrics. Previously folded fabrics would create a problem when cut where the edge would be jagged and become pointed in the centre, creating complaints from customers. With the new clamping system the cut is straight, ensuring your customers are happy with the fabrics they receive and come back wanting more.

Our new PVC rolling machine has now been installed in Germany. Able to handle widths up to 3.3 meters and weights of 1 ton, the bespoke machine rolls PVC straight and true (with pneumatic edge guidance) from a rear air shaft with magnetic brake to a front cradle where the PVC is cut to length. A pneumatic push arm ensures no heavy lifting is required by operatives and the cut to length rolls are pushed from the machine onto a transport trolley to be moved around the warehouse.
