The cuttle (usually used on our IM-Range) allows the fabric to be taken from a roll, inspected and folded into a neat pile rather than being re-rolled.
Known to many as a perch the fabric is layed out and folded back onto itself to build up the fabric pile.
Often used when the next process would be mending of the fabric.
